ABOUT

Shelley A. Wallace is a multifaceted designer specializing in commercial architectural & interiors and television and film projects within the entertainment industry. After studying architecture at Cornell University, Ms. Wallace began her career in architectural design before transitioning to entertainment. She has contributed to notable TV shows like Moesha, the office & SEAL Team, and films including Akeelah & The Bee & King Kong: Skull Island. Ms. Wallace made history as the first African American woman set designer for I.A.T.S.E. Local 847 (Set Designers) and later joined Local 800 (Art Directors Guild) She is active as a board member & mentor for The Art Directors Guild & the non-profit, Kids in the Spotlight, Inc. with an ADG Award nomination for her work on HBO's Veep, alongside teaching and participating in industry panels and charitable projects.
